Did you see what we did there? We’re creating your community.

“It takes a village to raise a child” African Proverb.

It’s been just over a year now since started creating our ‘Debunking’ series and it’s been such a joy to watch it grow.  Maybe you’ve seen the promo’s or perhaps you’ve been part of our community.  When we set out to create Debunking Ovulation, I simply wanted all women the chance to know their body better.  This is the stuff I’m certain many women before us sat around and chatted about – as a community.  They knew their bodies well, they discussed young women hormones, fertility moving into the reproductive years and babies when the time came too.  They shared their stories as women, about their own body and what they experienced – they nutted it out, figured it out and certainly didn’t go it alone.

Life is easier when you’re part of a team – just ask the Lego family…

As we’ve continued to grow the Debunking family with Debunking PCOS and most recently Debunking Stress, we’ve seen you, our community grow.  We’ve realised, we have helped create YOUR community.  We’ve brought together like minded people from near and far all with a common theme.  You wanted to take your health and wellbeing to a new level, you were your own health’s biggest fan.  You’ve chatted it out be it on Facebook or in the comment section on the blog.  You’ve gotten noisy and we’ve been listening I promise.

But did you realise, you are helping change the lives of others.  With your thoughts, your own life experience and your absolutely delightful hunger for information, you are the very essence of this community.  We all want the same thing, to gain as much information about ourselves to make our lives that much sweeter.

The best part of all; you’re no longer alone in this quest and we are all so in this together.

For those of you who have purchased Debunking Ovulation and Debunking PCOS, we conducted a trial, creating a closed Facebook group that you were invited to participate in.  This is a place where you could feel safe to discuss your ‘lady parts’ (and some – it gets pretty intense in the best ways, in there!).  The general vibe in there has been beautiful, women asking others question, supporting each other and feeling part of a community of people who genuinely care.

We want to continue to help you create your ‘tribe.’  The time has come to ask the question, would a forum be something you’d like to utilise, to ask questions and share with like minded people?  I want to know if you’d enjoy webinars too – simple webinars where you could tune in and ask me questions.

I’m sitting tight today, to hear your thoughts in the comment section below – what you like that we are currently doing and what you’d like to see more of.  I realise that as we help to grow your community, we all become better people; “you start building a good neighbourhood when you, yourself decide to be a good neighbour” author unknown.

Because we’re all in this together.

I would love some webinars as I have purchased Debunking Ovulation and Debunking PCOS but I don’t have a Facebook account and would love to feel a bit more a part of the community! Thanks for all the hard work!

I’ve loved the Facebook group, particularly because it is ‘closed’ so everyone there has the same sense of supporting, guiding and sharing. I’ve learnt a lot from the questions and comments posted in the group and feel community is so important.

I also love the idea of webinars (maybe even recorded ones? I often miss out because of the time difference). Or maybe even a web series where you discuss a particular topic each episode.

Thanks Nat, I think the work you do is awesome!

I would love webinars too! I have bought debunking pcos and debunking ovulation and I believe it’s been such a help. I’ve even gone off contraceptive. I never thought I’d do that this time last year. Now I know, I have a better knowledge of my body. I’m so excited to be involved in this with all these beautiful ladies.

Do you have to our purchase debunking ovulation to join? I purchased fertilise yourself and because I have been on this journey a long time I didnt learn anything new. I have been reluctant to purchase DO as I have so many medical expenses I don’t want to buy it in case It is also all information I already know. I would really love to be a part of a forum however as I often feel very alone in this very challenging journey.

    Hi Dr Nat,

Your sight, along with getting regular acupuncture, has really had a big impact on my life. You and my acupuncturist are completely on the same page–except she’s saying it in French. I send my English-speaking friends links from your site all the time.

I would love to see more ways to create a community–a forum is a good idea. I would also like to see some information on menopause and a practical, holistic approach–I have some close friends that are in that phase of their lives.

    xoxo
