I don’t often share on the blog, the summits or conferences I’m a part of. That’s the beauty of being a subscriber – you get access to more information than what we see here on the surface. (If you’re not part of my Wellness Collective subscription and you want in, please join me here) But this summit has my heart and with the craziness of the world right now, I think we can all do with a little TLC and drawing on the support of others. I’m honoured to be part of the FREE summit, ‘How Do you Fly‘ starting today.
Marcus Pearce (the legend) swiftly decided we had to come together and share the love. “I was just checking on social media how perfect everybody’s life is…. but is life really like that? He says. “As a journalist for the past 15 years, I’ve been trained and I truly believe that there are two sides to every story, there’s more than just winning and smiling in life… there is challenge, there is heartache, there are crash landings.” Marcus decided it was time we all saw it for what it is and to bring together 8 experts, entrepreneurs and incredible people to share their stories of trials, fails and what life has been like for each of them (me included).
We’re talking the likes of Damian Kristof, Kim Morrison, Jo Whitton, Cyndi O’Meara and MORE.
In my interview I’m quoted to share, “I threw myself in a pit, really. I went to a really dark place.” I was talking about my son and his diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis and how it absolutely floored me. I shared of my family struggles as we went through such a difficult time and how I felt my life go ‘black’ as if there was nothing more to it.
I’m not alone, in fact, what kept me sane was reassuring myself that there were people out there fighting worse battles than me. But most of all, it’s not what we do when we fall, it’s how we get back up that counts and that’s also what I share (all 8 of us actually) in the interview.
Now, the summit is FREE, there’s absolutely no cost to you PLUS you’ll get yourself gifts from us all as part of what’s on offer!!
I highly recommend you watch Marcus’ video to give you all the insights into the summit. I’m up tomorrow (Tuesday morning AESDT) morning, but the schedule of the interviews is on the website. All you need are your ears! But I encourage you to register and have access to all 8 interviews, be open, learn, grow and be reminded that life is there for the living and loving, the ups, the downs and all the in betweens – it’s our perspective that gets us there.
Happy Monday!
