Wonderful, thank you so mich for your reply!!! That does make sense. However, I forgot to ask what you recommend for serving size of the combined mixture. I’ve been pleased with the blend, and figured I should just make sure I was in the right ballpark for my daily serving. Many thanks!

Thank you! I'm so happy you have access to this. I like to do two parts psyllium & slippery elm to one part each of flax and chia. ie 100gm of psyllium & slippery elm and 50gm flax and chia. Hopefully that makes sense. Thank you for your beautiful comments I'm glad you enjoyed the podcast!

I just listened to your MindBodyGreen podcast, and was impressed to say the least Relatable, informative, and a big missing piece to modern healthcare! I have ordered the 4 ingredients listed for the cleanse blend, and read about it more in this post. This is great. However, I was curious what ratio you suggest for each of the 4 ingredients, and if there were any other specific instructions to the mixture. (Just to get started, I started with 1 Tablespoon of each, and stirred briskly with water). I'm excited to also have just joined the Membership Collective, and am grateful for this level of heath coverage and attention.

Thank you!!

Is slippery elm safe to take in early stages of pregnancy? I'm only about 4 weeks along, but I enjoy my fibre cleanse drink in the morning but I think I read somewhere that slippery elm can create misscarriages

Hi Irene,

There is a lot of this online you will easily be able to find simply by searching. I had read so much on the nutrients in nuts and seeds as well as the benefits of fibre for liver health to help move excess hormones via phase 2 detoxification. Simply search benefits of nuts and hormones but here are a few - Health Benefits of Nuts, Nuts, Body Weight and Insulin Resistance but I'm sure you'll find lots!
