It’s extremely fair to say we are all living in uncharted waters right now and collectively the world is extremely anxious, overwhelmed and fears the unknown – even if you don’t mean to be, it’s real (plus I just paid $32 for toilet paper). After observing patients over the last few weeks, it has become increasingly obvious, as humans we may be completely unaware of the 1 real thing affecting your health right now.
As we watch on as to how other countries, states, families and workplaces respond to the pandemic, we innately also respond. We can’t help but do it. This is not necessarily a conscious choice, this is the force of the energetic ebbs and flows that each of us have by way of influence over each other, big or small. It only further reinforces, we are one.
Make no mistake, this affects everybody, in every minute of every day.
You’ve most likely observed this many times over. If we look to say the festive season where the vibe is light and we let the fun times roll, even those of us carrying the world on our shoulders can’t help but feel happy enough and temporarily ‘forget all our troubles and celebrate.’ And then maybe when the world mourns the loss of a great human or takes time to reflect upon war heroes or on days of reflection like memorial days, the vibe is a little lower. Together, we impact each other.
This influences more than just how we feel. Our physical symptoms may be a result of the world around us since our subconscious is mostly running the show (like 98% of the time – and that’s a fact).
Your emotional and physical health aren’t separate.
Most recently, I’m observing patients symptoms be more pronounced than ever before, some reporting symptoms they haven’t seen since they were kids (hello, I’ve epic eczema for the first time in 20 years). Others are spouting new and wildly odd symptoms they have never had in their lifetime.
These patients are perplexed. Why are they all of a sudden experiencing insomnia, or weight gain or stabbing mid cycle pain…
And why you ask?
What’s the 1 real thing that is affecting your health right now?
It’s this one thing; we’re completely disregarding (or unaware) the energetic impact everybody’s current state of mind (and state of being) is having on the world and therefore on us each individually. Collectively as a planet, we are in a high state of stress and overwhelm and whether we like it or not, this affects each and every one of us, right down to a cellular level.
When the entire globe’s state of mind shifts as one large unit, every single living element responds.
So whilst you’re sitting there scratching your head about those wild and wonderful new symptoms – think outside of what’s going on within and start noticing what’s actually going on outside of us that our bodies are innately responding to.
And for those of us in Australia, it’s possibly worse.
We’ve just lived through a country crisis of bush fires. Every corner of the country was on fire. And just as we were piecing our lives back together, the pandemic struck leaving many in a place their emotional health had never experienced. We’ve not been hit once, but twice in a very short space of time leaving many in a place of total disarray.
No symptoms is random.
Right now your health must be your number one priority and your symptoms are speaking to you constantly. You don’t need to feel as if you don’t understand yourself – in fact quite the contrary. Your body is telling you exactly what you need to know and exactly what you need to do to feel better, if you can be still enough to listen.
I’m encouraging all patients to really treasure their health right now. It is not indulgent to seek out healthcare, self care and priorities lifestyle and nutrition right now. It is an essential step in us transitioning through this odd time in our lives and recovering.
If we can collectively focus on our health and wellbeing, we will come out of this in a much better state.
We will not need to pick up as many pieces. I’m committed to my attention being on this not just for me, but for my patients. Health care is an essential service. Make sure you’re doing everything you can to understand yourself and feel better.
I’ve observed many patients putting their regular health care treatments on hold. If you are in a position to continue with your regular services, you absolutely should. Now isn’t a time to pause.
But perhaps you don’t like the idea of leaving the house and heading to your regular health care provider for treatment or you just can’t, but you realise that you can’t do nothing either. If your hormones are begging for mercy, please start with my hormone worksheet to help you find some direction as to what really may be behind your symptoms.
My masterclasses are as necessary as ever for you right now, especially if you can’t leave the house, to not only get to the bottom of your health issues, but use everyday principles to be better. These are the small things we can do each and everyday that can be specific to your hormone imbalance. Simple small things really do add up.

So long as we are doing something, I believe, we can always feel better. I’m here to help you during these odd times and it all starts with us being aware and then actioning change. We really are all in this together.
I’d love to hear how you are prioritising your health right now, what’s working for you and where maybe you feel you can do better. Leave me a comment below. I love to read them!

You know what, I’m actually feeling quite good. I’m a swimmer so desperately missing doing my laps but aside from that I have a great job that is busier than ever as an essential worker . I love my job and that we’ve had to quickly make changes and adapt. Keeping my brain active. So sleeping well and walking and cycling everywhere. Enjoying some down time on weekends as opposed to the rush to see people and fit everything in.
So important to feel good!
I also think a lot of these things pop up when there is a change in the seasons. Not necessarily stress for everyone.
Very much so!
