Because I want to be always adding layers to the information I’m giving you – I created this very quick video to debunk another myth around ovulation.  So many women are of the belief that they can have a period but not be ovulating.  I need all women to know that this is impossible.  A true period (a flow that is at least one day in duration) is always a result of ovulation.  In the instance where a women suspects she isn’t ovulating she may be experiencing one of the following;

+ misinterpreting when she is ovulating (then she absolutely needs to get onto my Debunking Ovulation e-course)

+ being guided by unreliable test like the Day 21 ovulation blood test or ovulation predictor kit tests – again something we discuss in detail in my e-course.  As we learn, if a women is ovulating after day 21 of her cycle, yet she’s being tested on day 21, this can lead to all kinds of confusion.

+ misinterpreting ovulatory signs or change in hormones marked by spotting or a dirty/dry kind of bleed

Whatever the case, with this information I hope to encourage you to find out more about what is going on in your body – as I continue to debunk the myths around women’s health and pave the way for happy, healthy hormones!

    Hi Nat.. what if you get a full bleed (5-7 days, red blood) , 1 – 2 days after intercourse without fail? So that you could get a full bleed more than once every 28 days. Is this caused by ovulation or by hormonal changes from intercourse?

    Hi Natalie,

    I have recently purchased your debunking ovulation download and watched your two videos. They are awesome. Thank-you for presenting this in such a simple and practical way that is so easy to understand. My question to you is: I am breastfeeding and haven’t had a period. Does this mean like you have said before that I won’t be ovulating and therefore won’t be able to conceive? We are wanting to have another baby soon but I am not yet ready to wean my 11 month boy.

    Thanks again,

    Claire
