Great post Joanne . Chlorine can lead to formation of trihalomethanes that increases the risk of cancer. We use a water filter that removes chlorine & adds back micro nutrient elements such as calcium,iron,zinc,magnesium,copper etc. that are essential to a healthy human body. The water is tasty, healthy as well as doesn’t hurt the pocket 🙂

Interesting article. Can you please explain to me what you mean by “unfiltered water can also contain traces of the pill”? Do you mean that unfiltered water contains chemicals or hormones that mimic the pill?

Both my parents and I have durand ceramic benchtop filters. They’re great, but whenever I go to Mum and Dad’s the water (even though filtered) makes me sick (nausea, headaches, the runs, weakness). I have to bring my own water when I stay with them! They are farmers (possible risk of chemical landing on roof) and their drinking water is rainwater stored in a concrete tank. Does anyone know what tge go is? Someone said once its cause I have a sensitive liver…but it’s filtered water even so. Could this be harming the rest of my family even though its not making them sick?

I love buying as much as I can from Shop Naturally, and I have the Waters Co Bio Mineral Pot and I love it. The water tastes amazing… Even better to find out it is helping my hormones 🙂
