Good Food Friday: Immunity Juice & a giveaway not to be missed!

I can’t even tell you how much I love and respect Amy Crawford.  She is such a shining light in the wellness industry and most certainly a woman that walks the walk and talks the talk.  I most of all love how much she listens to her body and gives it what it deserves.  We can all learn a thing or two from this beauty.  She’s featured on the site several times, and she’s kindly here today with not only a stunning recipe but a giveaway to boot! Keep reading for details.

Carrot, Apple & Ginger Immunity Juice

A strong immune system should be a consideration year round, not just as winter approaches. Carrots contain loads of beta-carotene, a powerful phytonutrient that serves to boost your immune system’s production of infection fighting cells. Combine this with turmeric and ginger and you have excellent health in a glass.

Serves 2

5 carrots, chopped
1 apple, quartered
1 lemon, quartered
1 inch piece turmeric
1 inch piece ginger

Juice all ingredients and pour into two glasses. Serve immediately.

A nourishing morning

GIVEAWAY:
The lovely Amy has given us three copies of her fab new ebook A Nourishing Morning to giveaway. Simply tell me below in 25 words or less why you’d like to win.

{Winners will be announced next Wednesday the 3rd September}

    I love the promotion of these types of juices, they have a beautiful balance of flavours & temperatures that don’t compromise the delicate balance of the gut system, which I constantly recommend to my patients. I would love to win this ebook so I can share many more of your lovely recipes 🙂
