I asked the lovely Mel Armstrong from ditch the gym to talk to me about her thoughts on fats, sugars – the good and the ugly. Mel is a personal trainer and lover of all things wholesome and healthy – she knows a thing or 50 about good food and great eating habits and how many food companies are feeding us untrue information directly into our ever hungry mouths. I love what she has shared and hope this is useful to you as I (and awesome people like Mel) continue on the quest to educate about all things wholesome.

You HAVE to take a look at her blog – it’s every kind of awesome and contains a huge wad of information that I am positive you will find very useful.

Our bodies need all the good fuel to run smoothly – good fats are fertile foods. Less sugar also creates a more fertile you. Be health people – I know you want to be.

Love this post!!! Have to say the best whole brekky I have had in terms of eating out, was at a restaurant in Bronte Beach – muesli with fresh berries and natural whole yogurt. It was the first time I really began to like natural yogurt. Thanks for all this info, Nat. I like to think I am somewhat versed in healthy eating, but these kinds of posts help reinforce and remind us how important it is!
