Today we kick off round two of my gentle body cleanse. If you are starting on the program for the first time – welcome! For those of you who have done it before, you know just how good you will feel come friday! One of my wellness sista’s, co host of healthtalks and gorgeous friend Jess Ainscough is the queen of getting clean. I love this chick so much. Jess has shared on here before. She is the Wellness Warrior. Who better than to take 5 minutes with as we step into another week of clean eating and wellness.

Cleanse or Detox?
Cleanse! To me, cleanse means soaking your body with nutrients, which naturally detoxifies as well. Detox isn’t enough, especially if it’s just temporary. In my vocab, a cleanse is a kick start to a healthy lifestyle – not a once off thing.

Bike rides or Yoga?
Yoga. I think it is the perfect exercise – a magical combination of meditation and movement. Pair that with a hot room and it’s incredible.

Beach or Mountains?
Beach for sure. I climb Mt Coolum almost every morning and love it, but the beach is my healing source.

One food you can’t live without?
The coconut! It’s the most amazing food there is – the flesh, the water, the oil. It’s seriously good stuff.

What’s your go to meal?
A massive salad packed with greens, veggies, super foods, nuts, coconut flakes and mint, with quinoa mixed through and a dressing of apple cider vinegar and flaxseed oil.

Most favorite cleansing thing (food, ritual etc … you know say enema!)
Coffee enemas, of course! I do them twice a day to detoxify my liver.

    I’d love to win a coconut from Coconut Hub because I have only recently made changes towards a clean and healthy lifestyle (thanks to yourself, Jessica Ainscough and Melissa Ambrosini) and I would LOVE to try my very first coconut water straight out of a coconut!! =) The only coconut water I’ve been drinking is out of a bottle (I’ve been buying organic coconut water from my health food store), but I must admit, I don’t ‘love’ the flavor. My sister-in-law (who tried my bottled coconut water) tells me that there’s no comparison to the real thing… I’d LOVE to win one so that I can try it! And straight from the Coconut Hut sounds ideal!! 🙂 <3
